Saving Caregivers

Serving the ones who serve everyone else.

Someone is holding a family together right now.

At Saving Caregivers Foundation we honor and support the often-forgotten heroes who care for loved ones with schizophrenia and severe mental illness. Through direct financial assistance, advocacy, and mental health resources, we lift the emotional and economic burden placed on caregivers.

Every dollar goes toward relief for unpaid caregivers. See exactly what we fund .

What we do

Direct financial assistance

Grants that reach caregivers fast — groceries, gas, prescriptions, utilities, rent. Paid to vendors or delivered as gift cards, without red tape.

Advocacy

Caregivers are often the strongest people in the room and the least supported. We speak for the ones too busy holding everything together to speak for themselves.

Mental health resources

Respite, counseling support, and community for the people carrying a diagnosis that isn’t their own — because burnout is not a personal failure.

Our programs

Compassionate support for caregivers when it matters most.

Caregivers give everything. Our programs exist to give something back — quickly, compassionately, and without unnecessary barriers.

How relief reaches you

No red tape. No long waits.

We meet caregivers in real life — during crisis moments, breaking points, and seasons where the load feels unbearable.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you’re facing

One application, in your own words. No case number, no waiting room, no proving your worth.

  2. 02

    We review with care

Every request is read by a person. We confirm unpaid caregiver status and the urgency of the need.

  3. 03

    Relief arrives directly

Funds go out as gift cards, direct payments to your utility or landlord, or approved reimbursements.

Why we exist

“We didn’t come together to build an organization. We came together because life asked more of us than we could carry alone.”

Saving Caregivers Foundation was born from lived experience, not theory. We believe caregivers don’t need more advice. They need relief. They need community. They need to be seen.

$250 can be the difference between a hard week and a lost home.

Your gift becomes groceries, a paid electric bill, a prescription filled, a night of rest for someone who hasn’t had one in months.
